MEMBER OF THE YEAR

The Kenner Business Association is proud to recognize our 2020 Member of the Year. When fellow board members were asked to describe this year’s recipient, comments included:

 

Professional demeanor, willingness to not only participate in events but to organize and take on additional tasks, calm manner, eager to share ideas and feedback at board meetings, embraced their current board position with open arms.

Cindy has always had a desire to serve KBA, the neighborhood she has called home for 31 years as well customers she serves on a daily basis.

​

Some of her activities and community involvement include:

​

• 7 years as an active member of the Driftwood Civic Assn board currently serving as treasurer

• 5-year member of the Driftwood Park Garden Club

• Volunteer for the Driftwood Parade for 8 years where she reigned as queen in 2010

• Member of the Krewe of Isis for 4 years

• KBA member for three years where she serves as secretary

She was born in Metairie and graduated from Grace King High School and has been in the banking industry over over 30 years where she provides old-fashioned customer service with a smile. She and her husband Vince have been married for 44 years and have a daughter, Elizabeth.

​

Cindy has a true dedication and deep commitment to making Kenner, KBA and the Driftwood neighborhood she so dearly loves a better place to live and work.
